Follow this tasty recipe for cacennau cri or pice ar y maen and learn how to use the imperative or command yn Gymraeg.
When we want to tell someone to do something we use the ending -wch on a verb. For example, eisteddwch means sit. We often see these patterns when following a recipe in Welsh when using commands like mix or stir. Words which come directly after an -wch ending may have a soft mutation, so watch out for these! Dull Method
- Mewn powlen, cymysgwch y menyn i mewn i’r blawd a’r halen nes bod y gymysgedd fel briwsion bara.
- Ychwanegwch y cyrens a’r siwgr a’u troi’n dda.
- Cyfunwch y rhain gydag wy wedi’i guro, ac ychydig o laeth os oes angen, nes bod gennych chi does eitha cadarn.
- Rholiwch y toes nes bod hi’n hanner moddfedd o drwch.
- Torrwch y toes i gylchoedd.
- Cynheswch radell neu badell ffrio a’i hiro gydag ychydig o fenyn.
- Coginiwch y cacennau am oddeutu 3-4 munud bob ochr nes bod nhw’n frown euraid
- Gorffennwch gyda siwgr mân
